What is a WCMA SubAccount?

A WCMA SubAccount allows business owners to allocate business assets among up to 999 individual accounts automatically linked to a full-service WCMA account.

What are the criteria for opening a SubAccount?

To open a WCMA SubAccount, you first must open a full-service WCMA account, which will serve as a master account.

Does the WCMA SubAccount offer the WCMA Visa® Business card or check-writing capabilities?

Yes, the WCMA SubAccount offers check-writing capability. In addition, a client can request to receive a Merrill Lynch Visa Business Signature Card or Merrill Lynch WCMA Business Access Visa Card. Additional account and service fees may apply.

If opening a WCMA Subaccount, the account fee is $150 and additional per check and deposit fees apply. All account statements and communications regarding the account will be mailed to the address designated by the accountholder unless an election is made to not link the WCMA Subaccount to the Master WCMA Account for statement delivery purposes. If accounts are linked for statement delivery purposes, statements for all linked accounts are mailed in a single package to the designated WCMA Account address.
